Currently ABEERU has three operational research sites:
Situated in the Mpumalanga bushveld between the towns of Middleburg and Groblersdal.
This site is in the Eastern Cape, in the Karoo, 40km from Graaff-Reinet.
Telperion is found in the grasslands of Mpumalanga outside the town of Bronkhorstspruit.
