Deputy Director's Message
Thank you very much for visiting our webpage, and for your interest in the services provided by The Advocacy and Resource Centre for Students with Disabilities (ARCSWiD) to students with disabilities registered with UNISA. We do hope that you will visit our webpage regularly to keep abreast of any updates.
Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the contents of our webpage so that you would have a good idea of the range of services for students with disabilities. Please also encourage your colleagues, friends and family to visit our webpage. Also, if you are aware of someone who may not have access to the Internet, please inform him or her of our services. By doing so, more people would become aware of the services for students with disabilities registered with UNISA. ARCSWiD is situated within the Learner Support & Student Affairs portfolio and is one of the three directorates under the Dean of Students with Student Development and Student Funding being the others.
The vision of ARCSWiD is to be the leading provider of quality services for students with disabilities registered with UNISA.
In line with UNISA’s Strategy, the mission of ARCSWiD is to create an enabling teaching and learning environment that will lead to the full participation and equalisation of opportunities for students with disabilities.
