Short Biography

Fulufhelo Masithulela Ṋemavhola was born in Phadzima-Dzumbathoho Village in Limpopo Province of South Africa. In addition to being a registered professional engineer (PrEng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa, Fulufhelo is also a Chartered Engineer (CEng) registered with Engineering Council of the United Kingdom (ECUK). He completed his grade 12 at Humbelani Senior Secondary School with full matric exemption. Fulu was awarded a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) degree in by the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.  In 2009, Fulufhelo completed an MSc (Mechanical Engineering) degree under supervision of Prof Botef.  Fulu's interest in academic research then steered him to pursue a doctorate from the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery of the University of Cape Town in December 2010. The PhD degree was studied under the supervision of: Prof. Thomas Franz, Prof. Neil Davies and Dr. Laura Dubuis. His research looked into the remodelling heart post myocardial infarction.
