Short Biography

He grew up in a normal family background under the guidance of his father who worked at Phalaborwa Mining Company. His father and mother had no education background of some sort. He had no role model to inspire him to become somebody in life, other than to become a soldier. He passed his Matric with a diploma grade on second attempt at Kolokoshani Secondary School in 1990. In 1992, he enrolled for Electrical engineering at Phalaborwa Technical College and exited with N4 Certificate in 1994 (Where he started doing Maths and Science). In 1998, he completed his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) and subsequently he completed his B-Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) in 2000. Furthermore, in 2004 he completed his BCOM Honours Degree at the University of Western Cape, while working full-time at Tellumat SA Ltd.  In 2009, he graduated for Masters’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering at CPUT while working as a junior lecturer. In addition, in 2012 he received his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering still at CPUT. He graduated for Post graduate certificate in Open Distance Learning with the university of Maryland university college (UMUC) in 2016. Last but not least, he is currently registered for Masters degree in ODL with Unisa.
