Nkosinathi (Nathi) Zongozzi graduated with BA in Information Science at the University Johannesburg (UJ) in 2010. In 2011, he enrolled and graduated with BA Honors in Public Management and Governance at the University of Johannesburg majoring in Advanced South African Public Policy Management, Advanced Public Human Resource Management, Public Research Methodology and Advance Public Financial Management. Nathi became a tutor in his academic department and Research Assistant to the Head of Department of Public Governance at the UJ. He joined the University of South Africa in 2012 as a Postgraduate Research Assistant to the Head of the Office of Graduate Studies and Research (OGS&R) in the College of Economic and Management Sciences (CEMS). In 2014, he became part of a Postgraduate development Fellowship Programme, a work integrated learning programme through UNISA where he did his research, lecturing and assistant to the Secretary of Higher Degrees Committee, Department of Public Administration.

In 2015, he graduated with MA in Public Management and Administration, UNISA, 2015 - Dissertation title: Case Studies in South African Public Administration Masters dissertations (2005 - 2015). An article from his dissertation was presented at the Association of Southern African Schools and Departments of Public Administration and Management (ASSADPAM) Conference, University of Johannesburg, 2015. His article titled “Variables Influencing Case Study Research Design in Public Administration: A Conceptual Framework” was published in the Administration Publica, 2016.

Currently, he is a Lecturer at Unisa and is enrolled for PhD in Public Administration, UNISA, 2016 - Focus: Research Development and Support in SA, Research Innovation, SA Research Policies and SARChI
