Community Engagement

Roots driven rural development: CAMP and community based tourism development Through the Unisa Centre for Community Development I was involved in the development of the Geography Participants Manual for NCS orientation and training of facilitators for the in service training of grade 10 Geography teachers in September 2005. I was co-Author of training manual for the Gauteng Department of Education to be used in specialised training for Geography teachers in Gauteng for the roll out plan for the new Geography NCS in FET.I was also tertiary representative in the Gauteng Department of Education Core Training Team for the implementation of NCS in FET (2005) and Co-author of the manual for Geography teachers training for the NCS (2005).
