Teaching Interests

Physical geography, hydrology, environmental change and problems, environmental management.

Research Interests

Water availability and quality. Water resource planning and management. Community based water resource monitoring and management. Hydrological responses accompanied with land cover change. Application of GIS and Remote Sensing in the development of hydrological models.

Community Engagement

Member of the Roots Driven Rural Change Community Engagement Project. Leader of sub-project entitled "Water Management and Conservation" which focusses upon improved water management and conservation within communities. Presently working with the Koffiekraal and Brakuil rural communities within the North West Province.
