Phumelele Nokele

Phumelele is pursuing a Diploma in Banking. His role entails the coordination of student structures and organisations recognised by the university. He is responsible for research and advances equity and transformation. He organises student mass meetings and is responsible for the assessment of the quality of the service rendered to students by the institution.

“Coming from an academic structure I am rooted in championing graduateness amongst our student population by making sure that Unisa produces the best students in terms of quality, content and competence,” says Phumelele. “My goal is to ensure that students are provided with quality service by the university and that the student voice is heard and taken seriously in the institution. I most certainly accept the challenge ahead and am willing to serve the student population of Unisa in my two-year term of office.”
