Registration

SCOP 2010 is a one and a half day meeting for invited policy-level decision makers, from ICDE member institutions and cooperating organisations. This is a unique opportunity for Rectors, Presidents, and Chief Executive Officers of open and distance teaching universities from around the world to meet to exchange information, share expertise, establish benchmarks, develop new cooperative projects, and determine advocacy directions. The meetings are entirely confidential, in-camera meetings limited to institutional executive leaders.

General information regarding rates:
ICDE Member Early Bird (Before 16 July 2010) R 4400.00  
ICDE Member (From 17 July 2010) R 5500.00  
Non-member participant R 8250.00  
Supplement R 880.00

The current exchange rate is approximately €1.00 = R9.70 and $1.00 = R7.30

These rates include:
- Access to the conference
- Reception dinners on Sunday and Monday
- Airport shuttles
- Conference materials and  documentation
- All Lunches
- Shuttle between hotel and conference venue

 These rates do not include:

- Travel and accommodation
- Optional activities
- Anything not otherwise specified

  1. To qualify for the Early Bird rate, the registration fee payment has to be received by 16 July 2010.
  2. Attendance is limited to Chief Executives, while deputies will be permitted to join only when accompanying their Rector, President or Vice-Chancellor

Cancellations received by 1 August 2010 will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations received at a later date will not qualify for a refund. However, substitutions may be permitted (the substitute must be of the same category as the original attendee).
