Bridging the Development Gap is the theme of the 2010 Standing Conference of Presidents (SCOP) to be hosted by the University of South Africa (Unisa). It is tactfully composed of both keynote sessions and parallel workshops. A Policy Forum on the day before the SCOP meeting will highlight how national and regional policies related to open and distance education can promote or hinder the development of Education for All
