Gauteng Region hosts its annual research seminar

Promoting and nurturing the culture of research across the university was the key message that various speakers emphasised at the Gauteng Regional Research Seminar that took place on Thursday 13 September 2012.

Unisa is creating a new breed of undergraduate students that have a special focus on research. The First Annual Unisa Student Research and Innovation Day held on 27 August 2012 heralded a new breed of Unisa students.

In light of the ever-imminent first Unisa international ODL conference, taking place from 5 to 7 September 2012, the Institute for Open and Distance Learning (IODL) hosted a seminar on 17 August 2012 as part of its ODL Occasional Lecture Series.

Unisa and VU University Amsterdam renew friendship

At a meeting held at Unisa on 16 August 2012, Unisa and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) agreed to review and strengthen their long-standing relationship and renew their agreement, signed in 2009.
