National Diploma: Engineering: Chemical

Qualification code: NDENG NQF Exit level: 6 Total credits: 360
Admission requirements:A National Senior Certificate (Diploma endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning and with at least 50% in Mathematics and Physical Science.
Rules:The practical component of these study units is compulsory. Registration for the practical component is done at Unisa. The practical component must be done at other institutions offering the same courses, such as the Vaal University of Technology, Durban University of Technology and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. If the student decides to do the practical component at these institutions, then Unisa will make the necessary arrangements and pay the costs involved. Both the theoretical and the practical component of the subject must be passed before credit for the subject can be obtained. The practical component must be done simultaneously or after the theoretical component. Modules can be completed concurrently or in different years. Access to a personal computer is compulsory for the practical. All study materials and examination papers (except Mathematics III) are available only in English
