Admission requirements:National Diploma: Engineering (S4) in the relevant discipline or equivalent qualification OR National Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering (T4) OR Foreign Civil Engineering qualifications are considered but subject to SAQA evaluation and departmental approval. Students with a National Diploma (T3) in Civil Engineering must do bridging study units: (i) Documentation III. Choose 3 of the following 4 study units: (ii) Structural Analysis III; (iii)Transportation Engineering III; (iv) Water Engineering III; (iv) Geotechnical Engineering III.
Rules:A total of eight study units must be taken. At least five study units must be taken from BTECV-WAT. and the remaining three study units may be selected from any other BTECV options . Note: Construction Material Technology IV should not be taken in combination with Concrete Technology IV.
