Admission requirements:A National Senior Certificate (Degree endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning. A student who does not qualify in terms of the statutory or additional requirements, may follow Unisa's alternative pathways.
Rules:This qualification must have a total of 30 modules. 8 NQF 5-modules; minimum 10, maximum 12 NQF level 6-modules; minimum 10, maximum 12 NQF level 7 modules. The module Integrated Theological Praxis (BTH3720) is a core (compulsory) module at NQF level 7. It must be taken in the last semester of registration for the BTH, when there is a realistic posibility that the student can complete the degree. A student must select two tracks - from Community Ministry (CMM), Congregational Ministry (CGM), Scripture Studies (ECH/OTS), Theologies in Context (TIC) - as major subjects. This qualification replaces all specialisations of 02135. Students may transfer to the new qualification and will retain credit for all modules, except those from other Colleges towards completion of the new qualification.
