Admission requirements:A Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences based on the SAICA-accredited syllabus of CTA level 1, which is not more than 3 years old, and with all the modules passed in the same academic year (including the supplementary examination). The following candidates may also apply for admission to this qualification: those who attempted a CTA level 2 equivalent, based on the whole SAICA-accredited syllabus during the 2 preceding years; those who attempted the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences (CTA level 2) during the two preceding years, and those with a CTA, the validity of which has expired for purposes of admission to SAICA's QE1.
Rules:To obtain this qualification, all the year modules required for this qualification must be passed in the same academic year (including the supplementary). Students should note that during the course of their studies they would be required to have access to a computer, printer and the internet.
