Admission requirements:An appropriate Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with an average of 60% or more, in the disciplines of Natural Sciences, Applied Sciences or Physical Sciences (or related fields). A student who does not have an average of 60% or more will be restricted to the registration of a maximum of 48 credits in their first year of registration. Such students will be required to pass these modules before continuing with the remaining modules for the qualification.
Rules:Postgraduate modules are delivered online and are available on myUnisa. HES4802, HES4806 and HES4809 have a compulsory practical component. It is recommended that students register for HRENV82 in their second year of registration. HES4801 is recommended for students with limited environmental background. Recommended sequence of modules: HMENV80, HES4801 (if chosen as an elective), HES4806, HES4802, HES4803, HRENV82 plus elective.
