Qualification offered until 2014, and ONLY for students previously registered for this qualification.
Admission requirements:Senior Certificate or NSC Degree/Diploma or Equivalent Qualification.
Rules:Students who passed EPP1501 do not need to pass English for academic purposes (ENN103F). This arrangement, however, does not make these two modules equivalent . Students who passed EPP1502 do not need to pass Developing Information Skills for Lifelong Learning (INS1502).Exemption for the subjects that were passed more than ten years ago in pursuance of a qualification that has not been completed as yet is not granted automatically. A curriculum vitae setting out to what extent the applicant has remained in touch with policing should accompany the application for such exemptions Credits will be given for the following modules if the first phase of Basic Training at the SAPS Training Colleges was passed since 1998. A certified copy of the certificate or letter signed by the commander of the college must be submitted together with the application for credits: Crime Prevention Principles for Policing1 ; POL1501, POL1502 Investigation Principles for Policing 1; OVM1501,OVM1502 Exemption for the subjects that were passed more than ten years ago in pursuance of a qualification that has not been completed as yet is not granted automatically.
