National Diploma: Animal Health

Qualification code: NDANM NQF Exit level: 6 Total credits: 360
Admission requirements:A National Senior Certificate (Diploma endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning and Mathematics and either Physical Science OR Biology (Life Sciences) with at least 40%.
Rules:It is compulsory for each student to register with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC) and maintain registration annually until completion of studies. The relevant form is available on the SAVC website (http://www.savc.co.za). The form should be completed by the student and then stamped by Unisa. The student should thus liaise with the SAVC tel: 012 342 1612: fax: 012 342 4354 to complete the registration process. No students are allowed to proceed with their studies if they are not registered with the SAVC. The National Diploma: Animal Health is approved for registration with the SAVC. Practical work forms an integral part of this qualification.
