Admission requirements:A National Senior Certificate (Degree endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching. A student who does not qualify in terms of the statutory or additional requirements, may follow Unisa's alternative pathways.
Rules:This degree comprises of the following structure. {1}. EDUCATIONAL THEMES (10 modules). {2}. PROFESSIONAL STUDIES (15 modules). {3}. SCHOOL SUBJECTS (15 modules maximum on a 2-2-1 basis. 2 School subjects up to 2nd year level each and another on 1st year level. This combination must include ENG1501 & EED102G and a second official language (Group C). With the exception of students working in one of the SADAC countries, all other foreign students must be able to do the compulsory practical work in South Africa. The practical work is devided in 4 block of 5 consecutive weeks each. A DSAR05 declaration form must be completed by all students prior to registering. You may compile your own curriculum on condition that you do not exceed 120 NQF credits per academic year. Maximum 60 NQF credits per semester.
