TRT1501 - Tourism Management Ia

Purpose: The purpose of this learning unit is to equip learners with a fundamental knowledge base of the tourism industry in terms of the structure, component activities and operating environment thereof. Qualifying students will have the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the main concepts, principals and theories relating to the tourism industry as a system within a broad context and in relation to society. This module is also foundational in nature by creating a solid knowledge base necessary to articulate to Tourism Management 1B (TRT1601).
