About this module: This module teaches both the underlying theories of linear models and their practical applications in business administration, economics, engineering, and the social, health, and biological sciences. Analysis of real-life data is used to help the students understand the theories and applications of linear modelling. Abbreviated contents: Generalised inverses of matrices; Distributions and quadratic forms; Regression and/or full-rank models; Anova and Ancova models; Mixed effects models.
