MNM3603 - Retail Planning and Operations

Purpose: To enable students to gain insight into strategic retail planning and operations management; explain how retailers manage their supply chains; illustrate an understanding of market selection and retail location analysis in the South African context; demonstrate how to manage a retailer’s finances, merchandise buying and handling, merchandise pricing, advertising and promotion, customer services, retail selling, store design and layout.
