Purpose: The aim of this module is to provide insight and an understanding of the individual functional areas of business management which ultimately form a synergistic whole that directs the business towards its goals. These functional areas are human resources, marketing, finance, operations and purchasing and supply. This module will provide the foundation for learners’ further study in the functional areas of a business.
