To enable students to understand the need for and the importance of theories and research methods in environmental psychology and includes aspects such as environmental perception, cognition and attitudes; the effects of environmental stressors and the relevance of territoriality, privacy and personal space to environmental behaviour and to apply this understanding in practical situations.
