Purpose: This module will be useful to people who will be working as a consumer journalist in the consumer complaints division at leading newspapers and other media as well as working for consumer complaints organisations such as the Consumer Union and Consumer Forum. Students credited with this module can: Interpret the importance of consumer complaints resolution through the South African media. Analyse the principles on which consumer complaints? resolution is based, Critically evaluate the methods with which consumer complaints are resolved. Justify the nature of consumer complaints suitable to be resolved by a consumer journalist
