Editorial Board

The Editorial Board is composed of academics and scholars from Africa and the Diaspora and from a broad range of disciplines including cross-disciplines. They provide peer review and thematic suggestions for editorials published in the Journal. The Centre’s Academic staff (part of the Editorial Board) works closely with UNISA Press (the Journal’s publisher) to process submitted manuscripts, send them for peer review with identifying information removed, and then, after the substantive editing process is complete, cite-check manuscripts, and make sure each manuscript is ready to send off to the printer.

An International Advisory Council is envisioned to ensure that the Journal’ s outreach is broad, and that it reflects the multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary approach that we seek to achieve. We hope to draw from this expertise: guidance on the themes that should be developed in the Journal, comments on submitted articles and reference to other persons who can offer valuable contributions to the Journal. We have invited academics, scholars, educators, policy makers from the continent and the Diaspora to join the Advisory Council.
