Announcements

The Centre for African Renaissance Studies is pleased to announce that its flagship publication, the International Journal of African Renaissance Studies, has been accredited by the Department of Education and will be included in the South African list of Approved Journals, effective since January 2007. In addition, the International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS), an abstracting and indexing service based at the London School of Economics and Political Science, will begin listing the Journal as of this year.

We are proud of the recognition granted the Journal since it launch two years ago, and we are certain that this national and international accreditation will insure greater exposure of African scholarship rooted in African Renaissance. You are invited to submit articles for consideration and hope that you will recommend the Journal to others for publication and as a vital component to all library collections.
