Unisa online - CEMS senior researcher invited to Cambridge University![]() Prof Willem Fouche, CEMS’ highest NRF rated researcher CEMS’ highest NRF rated researcher, Prof Willem Fouché, has been invited by the Isaac Newton Institute of Mathematical Sciences, University of Cambridge, to participate in a workshop at the 7th Conference on Computability, Complexity and Randomness. The conference will be held from 2 to 6 July 2012 in Cambridge, UK. It also forms part of the centenary celebrations for Alan Turning, arguably one of the most famous computer scientists of all times who made important contributions to code-breaking during the Second World War. Prof Fouché, who has a B1 rating from the NRF, is from the Department of Decision Sciences and the leader of the CEMS research flagship focusing on computability, complexity and randomness in decision sciences. They are part of the prestigious EU-FP7-IRSES: Computable Analysis international project in collaboration with colleagues from various European, Russian and Japanese universities. The Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences opened in 1992 and is an international research institute for mathematics and theoretical physics.
