Unisa online - Unisa's SRC elections postponed to 17 October 2011

Following a decision by the IEC, Unisa's SRC elections have been postponed and will now take place between 17 and 28 October 2011.

As the body that monitors, evaluates and ensures that the electoral process is free and fair, the IEC approved the postponement of the SRC elections to ensure that an appropriate level of system security is in place for the elections.

The IEC has also approved the appointment of an independent auditing company to test the voting processes before actual voting commences.
