Unisa online - CSET student partners with Microsoft![]() Rendani Nevhulaudzi For the first time at Unisa, the College of Science, Engineering and Technology has a Microsoft Student Partner (MSP) on campus. Mr Rendani Nevhulaudzi has being selected as the 2011 MSP for Unisa. This very excited third-year Information Technology student will be the Microsoft representative for Unisa students. This partnership will enable Rendani to share his knowledge of Microsoft technology and undertake a number of fun activities with students on campus. Being a Microsoft Student Partner is a great opportunity for Rendani, but it comes with responsibilities. He is expected to have a range of skills including excellent time management, and organisational and communication skills so that he can host successful campus events. An MSP should be comfortable making presentations in front of large audiences. Rendani mentioned that being an MSP is an honour and a privilege. His position will also benefit Unisa students, especially those doing computer-related degrees, as they will gain insights into new software products from Microsoft through seminars and activities that will be hosted on the campus. “We are very proud of Rendani and congratulate him on his appointment as an MSP. In CSET, students do not only learn to be excellent scientists, but they also learn the soft skills that are necessary for success in real life,” said Prof Setati.
