Unisa online - Prof Pityana hosts guests from the National Democratic Institute

Unisa's Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Prof Barney Pityana, recently received international guests from the National Democratic Institute (NDI), an international organisation based in Washington, DC.

Dr Keith Jennings is the organisation’s Regional Director for Southern and East Africa. This was a follow up of the meeting Prof Pityana and his delegation held with the NDI in Washington in May this year. This time the conversation was about the concrete steps that the two institutions will take to implement a partnership to assist with democracy building in Africa and other related projects that are of mutual interests and in the furtherance of quality services to humanity.
