Dr Sidzumo-Mazibuko to serve on Women's Advisory Forum

Dr Sidzumo-Mazibuko was recently requested to participate in a National Women’s Advisory Forum for the Ministry of Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities.

The nomination, by the Honourable Minister Noluthando Mayende-Sibiya, is in recognition of Dr Sidzumo-Mazibuko's commitment towards the empowerment of women. "I am encouraged by your commitment towards women empowerment and advancement in the country as well as your cooperation (with the new Ministry) in this regard."

The Women’s Advisory Forum will be assisting the Ministry on issues related to the role of the National Gender Machinery in the country. The Minister notes that Dr Sidzumo-Mazibuko has been identified as a valuable resource in this process based on her expertise and willingness to help in this regard.

This is empowerment for Unisa women. Congratulations, Dr Sidzumo-Mazibuko.
