Cape Town Alumni Chapter proves its commitment to Unisa
On 14 April 2009, members of the Cape Town Alumni Chapter once again proved their commitment to Unisa by arriving in numbers to attend an event on campus. The event, organised by the local "management committee" can only be described as a huge success.
Alumni viewed a DVD presentation on the current infrastructure developments at Unisa. This was further enhanced by a presentation by Ms Pat Lawrence, Executive Director of the Unisa Foundation and Alumni Affairs, on the commitment of the university to Open Distance Learning and the benefits this will hold for students.
The guest speaker for the evening, Judge Jimmy Yekiso, shared some thoughts on "the two sides of the law". |
