For the first time since his appointment, the Chancellor of Unisa, the Honourable Judge Bernard Ngoepe, paid a visit to the Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership (SBL) on Thursday 13 November 2008.
Judge Ngoepe was received by the SBL executive and management team, and was officially welcomed by the Executive Director and CEO of the school, Prof David Abdulai, who spoke of the school’s success in becoming one of the top business schools in Africa. As well as discussing the accomplishments and challenges facing the school, an elaborate presentation was made to the Chancellor on how the electronic delivery system was used to ensure that SBL clients receive only the best in terms of customer service.
The Chancellor mentioned that he was indeed privileged to have had the opportunity to visit the SBL and was overwhelmed by what the business school has accomplished under its new management in a rather short space of time. He praised Prof Abdulai for the transformation that has taken place since taking over the running of the SBL. |
