Delegates at the breakfast seminar for women entrepreneus

Unisa's North Eastern region hosted a breakfast seminar for women entrepreneurs on 21 October 2008 entitled "Women in business".
The seminar was part of the region’s community engagement and brand building programme. A total of 52 women from Limpopo attended the seminar.
To give the seminar broad appeal and value, presenters were invited from Absa and Khula Enterprise Finance Ltd, a parastatal established to promote entrepreneurship. Mrs G Khumalo, provincial chairperson of the Black Management Forum and a partner at Price Waterhouse, delivered the key address entitled "Key success factors for women entrepreneurs". Some of the key success factors she focused on included
- knowing what you really want
- discipline
- education and lifelong learning
Since the seminar, there has been a noticeable increase in enquiries related to short learning programmes at Unisa. |
