Unisa online - Prof Pityana to participate in racism seminar

Principal and Vice-Chancellor Prof Barney Pityana will be a co-panelist at a seminar on “Race and Racism in South Africa 2008” taking place at the Union Buildings on 10 April 2008.

The Presidency Seminar Series (PSS) is established to open up a space for discussion and debate around topical issues. It aims to create a forum between commentators, decisions makers and researchers in conversation with The Presidency staff. On a broader scale, this is a forum to sharpen our understanding on issues ranging from political matters, economic issues, social dynamics and the international environment.

As part of its objective, it also aims to widen a knowledge base within The Presidency by placing it in a national and international context.
