Recognition of prior learning (RPL)
Unisa recognises experience gained through informal learning and/or prior work experience. After extensive assessment of your experience, Unisa may grant access to a degree. For RPL enquiries, please send an e-mail to rpl@unisa.ac.za.
Maximum amount of time to finish a qualification
- You have three years to complete a coursework master's degree. You have four years to complete a research master's degree, but may apply for one additional year.
- You have five years to complete a doctoral degree, but may apply for one additional year.
