Assessment Centres

The Unisa Centre for Applied Psychology is available to conduct assessment centres on an individual or group basis. The Centre can assist organisations with selections for recruitment purposes or in the assessment of employees for purposes of promotion or succession planning. Furthermore, psychiatric (with psycho-dynamic profile analyses) and neuropsychological assessments (with function analyses), are offered for utilisation within a more therapeutic context.

Group Facilitation

The Centre provides group facilitation services to clients. This service takes the form of facilitating meetings or workshops which require a specific outcome or the facilitation of conflict resolution and disputes within an organisation.

In-house Training

Should it prove inconvenient or cost ineffective for a group of participants to travel to the Unisa Main Campus in Pretoria to attend a specific workshop or short course, the Centre may be approached to offer in-house training for organisations. Currently we are able to offer, among others, Diversity Training, HIV/AIDS Care & Counselling, Introduction to Qualitative Research, Programme Evaluation, and Victim Empowerment and Support on this basis.

Research Consultations

A pool of researchers is available to render expert advice to individuals and/or institutions engaged in research in the Social Sciences
