The Art Gallery has moved to Kgorong, Unisa's new entrance building

Since our inception in 1986, the Unisa Art Gallery has grown to be a significant exhibition space in South Africa and is privileged to own a most relevant collection of contemporary South African art. We provide a range of services to students, staff members and the public.

The Gallery hosts a range of exhibitions each year, focusing on diverse and relevant aspects in the arts. Research and education form part of the gallery's services to its community. Research can be done using our online inventory of catalogues and permanent art collection. Walkabouts, workshops and learning sessions serve to inform and empower vistors to the gallery.
