Surveys                

The BMR is well equipped to conduct empirical and opinion surveys on a wide spectrum of topics ranging from household income and expenditure to development prospects, business opportunities, market size, etc. The spatial coverage of these surveys varies from microsurveys in small urban or rural areas to nation-wide surveys across Southern Africa.  Past and present Unisa students, loyal to their alma mater, found in virtually every village present an ideal network for primary data collection.  

CATI

The BMR has its own state-of-the-art Computer Aided Telephonic Interview (CATI) system which are used to conduct interviewer administrated interviews with households, businesses and Unisa staff/students. 

Training  

The BMR assists the Department of Business Management of Unisa in presenting a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management. 

The Fritz Rädel library

The Fritz Rädel Library subscribes to periodicals and journals on marketing, marketing research and advertising and purchases the latest books on marketing research and related subjects.  A library list of the titles of articles and books on the latest developments in the mentioned fields as well as a list of Internet addresses for personal research on the Web, is sent to members on an annual basis.
