Registrar's Office

The Registrar’s Office is responsible for student administration and institutional governance. 

At Unisa, these functions include

• Directorate: Student admissions and registrations,
• Directorate: Student assessment administration,
• Graduation and Records management

The Registrar is also responsible for ensuring that programmes offered at the University are properly accredited by the relevant authorities. 

He is further the official secretary of the University Senate and Council, and the Registrar’s Office takes functional responsibility for the administration of all official Committees.  There is an additional duty that is linked to the Unisa Registrar’s Office which is the Music Directorate.
