The College of Human Sciences invited more than 45 Master’s and Doctoral students registered for the research proposal module to attend the workshop in Durban from 24 to 25 April in Durban. This workshop was well attended by students and staff members from the region. The academics discussed a variety of topics during their presentations which included an introduction to the process and procedures, what the research proposal is, how to review literature, theoretical and conceptual frameworks, an overview of research design, data collection and analysis, academic accountability and writing for academic purposes.
