Parks Leshaba, one of our students at the College of Education, inspires others with his passion for the environment. In his daily work at the Zoo in Pretoria, he educates the public on Invasive Alien Plants. One of his zoo club students entered the Science Week Competition and won Gold for Gauteng. He then competed at national level and won Bronze. Parks’ lecturer Prof Cheryl le Roux says “he instills such enthusiasm in others – he’s an absolutely a unique individual. I am so proud of him.”
