Unisa decide to support the ‘take a girl child to work day’ initiative as a community engagement project by encouraging employees to participate by allowing them to bring their girl children (Grade 11 or 12) to the workplace.

The objectives of this initiative are, among others, to deepen the thinking of girl children with regard to their infinite roles in society, to enhance their self esteem, inspire and motivate them to prepare for the world of work.
