media releases - Unisa alumni function in Bloemfontein8 July 2005 Unisa alumni function in Bloemfontein University of South Africa will be holding an alumni function in Bloemfontein on Saturday 9 July 2005. Members of the media are invited to the function that will be held at Floreat Hall, cnr Markgraaf & Nelson Mandela Drive, Braam Fischer Building ( Municipal Glass Palace) in Bloemfontein at 10h00. The aim of the function is to forge closer links between the alumni and their alma mater, Unisa. Matters to be discussed include Unisa’s new brand and the election of the committee of the Alumni Regional Chapter. Seasoned politician and academic Professor Themba Sono, who was elected last year as the President of the Unisa Alumni Convocation, will be the keynote speaker.
