UNISA Graduation Ceremonies in the Free State
 
The University of South Africa will be holding graduation ceremonies in the Free State on 20 and 21 May 2005.

On Friday 20 May 2005, 130 students will graduate at a ceremony in Bloemfontein. This graduation ceremony will be held in the Auditorium, AGS Cross Church at 18h00. The South Africa athletic legend, Mrs Zola Budd-Pieterse, will receive her BA Hons degree in absentia.

In Kimberley, 149 students will graduate on Saturday 21 May 2005 at the Diamond City Tabernacle at 14h00.

UNISA's Vice-Chancellor, Prof Barney Pityana, will confer the degrees and diplomas and deliver the congratulatory address during the ceremony.

This year, a total of 13 000 students will graduate during the University’s 50 graduation ceremonies to be held between April and July at main centres in Southern Africa.

They will take place in Pretoria, Wellington, Belville, Bloemfontein, Mokopane, East London, Port Elizabeth, Nelspruit, Kimberley, Durban, Umtata, Windhoek and Harare in Zimbabwe.
