media releases - Minister Nzimande to attend his son's graduation at UnisaThe Minister of Higher Education and Training, the Honourable Blade Nzimande will attend the graduation of his eldest son, Nkululeko, at the Unisa Main Campus this evening. Nkululeko will receive the degree of Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science (Hons BCompt). Minister Nzimande is expected to assist with the official conferring of the degree on his son.
The graduation ceremony at Unisa today will kick start the 2013 Autumn Graduations, which will see thousands of students graduate with certificates, diplomas and degrees at graduate and post graduate levels. The graduations will run from 03 April to 20 June 2013. Unisa Chancellor, the Honourable Judge President (Retired) Bernard Ngoepe will deliver the congratulatory address and also preside over the graduations, with Principal and Vice Chancellor, Professor Mandla Makhanya delivering the welcome address. The media is invited to attend today’s graduation ceremony.
