media releases - TMALI orientation week 2013The Thabo Mbeki African Leadership Institute (TMALI) was launched in 2010 and started offering its first short learning programme (SLP) in 2011. These short learning programmes are in their third year and has seen many students from South African and other African countries registering to pursue the African Renaissance ideals espoused by former President Thabo Mbeki and become change agents in their countries and communities. The three SLP on offer are:
A fourth group of students are due to attend a three day orientation from 4-6 February 2013, and will be addressed by former President Thabo Mbeki on the 4th February from 14:00 at ZK Matthews Hall, UNISA. These students will have the opportunity to interact with the former President, exchange views and ideas during this session.
