media releases - Unisa's Education College to host the 2013 SAERA ConferenceThe College of Education of the University of South Africa (Unisa) will host the 2013 South African Education Research Association (SAERA) conference on 28-30 January 2013. The conference will bring together education researchers and practitioners from different institutions in South Africa and beyond to discuss topical issues in education research, under the theme: ‘The State of Play in educational research in South Africa: practices and perspectives.’ The keynote speakers are Professor Joel Samoff, Stanford University, USA, and Professor Bob Lingard, Queensland University, Australia. Professor Crain Soudien, University of Cape Town, Professor Catherine Odora-Hoppers, Unisa and Professor Johan Muller, University of Cape Town are the panelists.
