The First Unisa International ODL conference starts today!

As a culmination of our journey as an ODL institution in the service of humanity, Unisa is hosting the first Unisa International ODL conference from 5 to 7 September 2012.

The theme of the conference, "Open distance learning in digital, open and mobile futures", opens up a space to critically interrogate the opportunities, challenges and issues regarding teaching and learning in an increasingly digital, open and mobile world.

The keynote speakers and workshop facilitators are at the forefront of developments in innovative practices in open distance learning (ODL) and Unisa is privileged to host the following international and national thought-leaders during the conference: George Siemens (Canada), Andreia Inamorato (Brazil), Laura Czerniewicz (UCT), Frank de Langen (Netherlands), Carlton Wood (UK) and John Baxter (UK).
